Michelle’s experience has been in the areas of APC analysis, outpatient coding, compliance audits, PFS Quality Assurance and charge capture integrity. She builds strong collaborative relationships between the Revenue Cycle Management Team, billers, HIM coders, ancillary departments and Charge Master Team to resolve issues that impact clean claim production and accurate reimbursement. Michelle has completed the denials management courses sponsored by HFMA and broadens her skills to provide feedback and assist clients in identifying patterns to reduce the number of denied claims and lost revenue.
